The Intelligence Bureau has issued a notification for Direct Recruitment to the post of Security Assistant/Motor Transport (SA/MT) and multi-tasking Staff/General (MTS/Gen) in the following Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaux, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India. Essential Qualifications:

(i) Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education, and

(ii) Possession of domicile certificate of that State against which the candidate has applied.

Only for SA/MT-

(i) Possession of valid driving license for Motor Cars (LMV) issued by the competent authority;

(ii) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle), and

(iii)Experience of driving a Motor Car for at least one year after obtaining a valid driving license.

Desirable Qualifications:

Possession of a valid driver’s license for a Motorcycle issued by the competent authority for Security Assistant/Motor Transport.

Age Limit:

For Security Assistant/ Motor Transport the maximum age requirement is 27 years as on the closing date of SA/MT.

For Multi-Tasking Staff/ General (MTS/Gen) posts the minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit is 25 as on the closing date of MTS/GEN.

Age Relaxation:

There will be age relaxations for the Intelligence Bureau vacancies for the different categories which are as follows:

For ST and SC categories there will be 5 Years of age relaxations.

For OBC categories the maximum age relaxation is 3 years and,

For PWD the maximum age limit will be 10 years.

Pay Scale for Intelligence Bureau Vacancy:

For Security Assistant/Motor Transport: Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.

Multi-Tasking Staff/ General (MTS/Gen): Level-1 (Rs. 18,000-56,900) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.
